SAIGONBANK Topup
1. Introduction
SAIGONBANK offers SAIGONBANK Topup service to customers for two options: Purchasing a prepaid Topup code/card , Instantly topup to a sim account;
This service is applicable to SAIGONBANK Card and/or account holders as Topup payment is made through their own bank accounts. Simply customers can activate the service by an SMS request or utilize specific software installed in their cell phones.
Customers who top up their sim accounts from SAIGONBANK Topup Service will be entitled to enjoy an incentive discount rate offered by the mobile network suppliers (Vinaphone, Mobiphone, Viettel, Vietnammobile, Beeline, EVN, S-Fone).
2. Subject customers
This service is applicable to any SAIGONBANK Card and/or account holders upon their request.
3. Requirements and features
Customers applying for SAIGONBANK Topup service must be already SAIGONBANK Card and/or account holders.
Customers complete Saigonbank Topup service registration form and the service then will be activated for using.
4. Guideline
a. Activating service
Given registration, customers will receive a password via SMS notice to activate service within 8 hours. This password is secured and can be used when customers enjoy service from the installed software in their devices.
To activate service, customers compose a message of the following syntax
SGB KH {Password}
and send to 8179
b. Topup by SMS
Topup to the client’s own phone number (not available for Viettel, Vietnammobile, Beeline, EVN, S-Fone number)
Message syntax: SGB NAP {amount}
SMS operation Center: 8179
Upon confirmation code receipt, customers then have to confirm by composing message in the following syntax and send to 8179
SGB XN {Confirmation code}
Finally, SMS notice will be sent to customers to confirm the successful transaction.
Example: You need to top up VND50,000 to your own sim account, please compose the following messages:
SGB NAP 50000 send to 8179
SGN XN {confirmation code} send to 8179
Topup to another phone number (not available for Viettel, Vietnammobile, Beeline, EVN, S-Fone number)
Message syntax: SGB NAP {destined phone number} {amount}
SMS Operation Center: 8179
Upon confirmation code receipt, customers then have to confirm by composing message in the following syntax and send to 8179
SGB XN {Confirmation code}
Finally, SMS notice will be sent to customers to confirm the successful transaction.
Example: You need to top up VND100,000 to phone account 0912345678, please compose the following messages:
SGB NAP 0912345678 100000 send to 8179
SGB XN {confirmation code} send to 8179
Guideline for prepaid Topup code
Message syntax: SGB MT {supplier code}{nominal value} {quantity}
SMS Operation Center: 8179
Upon confirmation code receipt, customers then have to confirm by composing message in the following syntax and send to 8179
SGB XN {Confirmation code}
Finally, SMS notice will be sent to customers to confirm the successful transaction.
Example: You need to purchase 2 Viettel prepaid topup cards/codes of VND50,000, please compose the messages:
SGB MT VT50 2 send to 8179
SGB XN {confirmation code} send to 8179
Regulations on code words and nominal values
NAP, XN, MT are service code words
Code words for mobile suppliers: VN = Vinaphone, MB = Mobifone, VT = Viettel, SF = S-Fone, EVN = EVN Telecom, BL = Beeline, VNM = Vietnam Mobile
Nominal value:
Topup amount 10000 = VND10,000, 20000 = VND20,000, 30000 = VND30,000, 50000 = VND50,000, 100000 = VND100,000, 200000 = VND200,000, 300000 = VND300,000, 500000 = VND500,000.
Purchasing prepaid Topup code/card: Nominal value 10 = VND10,000, 20 = VND20,000, 30 = VND30,000, 50 = VND50,000, 100 = VND100,000, 200 = VND200,000, 300000 = VND300,000, 500 = VND500,000.
Instant topup service for prepaid subscribers is only available with certain suppliers who support this service.
The post paid subscribers can make payments by buying Topup code and it depends on the suppliers’ supports.
Note
During transaction, customers will be noticed whether the transaction is successful or failed. Customers should not send two messages consecutively within 5 minutes if no transaction confirmation from the SMS Operation Center is received.
c. Guideline for service supported by software installed in customers’ devices
Requirement
Devices supported by JAVA connected to GPRS/WIFI/3G
Mobile Banking Client software installed in the devices.
Android mobiles connected to GPRS/WIFI/3G
Download software
SMS syntax for downloading:
SGB Ungdung
Send to 8179
Device with JAVA version (S.jar)
Device with ANDROID version (A.apk)
Activate account
Select: Mobile Banking -> Account Management -> Activate account -> Enter the password (PIN) -> Enter the phone number -> OK
Successful activation by the system will be confirmed to the customers.
Instant Topup or purchase a prepaid Topup code/card
Bank/ATM card account balance for mobile topup payment is required to be greater than the demanded nominal value.
Topup to the clients’ own phone number (not available for Viettel, Vietnammobile, Beeline, EVN, S-Fone number)
Select Topup -> Topup for phone number -> Select the source account -> Select the phone number used to Topup -> Enter Topup amount -> Enter a password (PIN) -> OK
Purchase prepaid Topup code/card
Select Topup -> Purchase prepaid Topup code/card -> Card type -> Supplier -> Amount -> Enter the quantity -> Select default account -> Enter the password (PIN) ->OK
Change password (Password decided by the customers is a chain of minimum 06 digits including numbers and at least 06 digits)
Select Mobile banking -> Account management -> Change password -> Enter the password (PIN) –> Enter the new password -> Re-enter the new password -> OK
Balance Inquiry
Select Mobile banking -> Balance inquiry -> Select source account -> Enter the password (PIN) -> OK
Other functions: change password, change language, software manual, statement of 10 latest transactions.
